I engaged Mia as my Online Fitness Coach with the very specific goal of getting ‘beach ready’ for a trip to Portugal. While I am reasonably confident in the gym Mia provided a high degree of accountability for me, all via calls and technology, thus helping me maintain a mindset whereby I adhered to my dietary and fitness goals. And it worked! After four months found myself in better shape than I’d ever been in my life with no signs of the dreaded middle age paunch. Having achieved my goal the work with Mia has left me with the tools and motivation to continue my fitness journey and I pleased to report that the weight has stayed off. I’ve made so much progress with Mia’s support, and have really enjoyed the process of improving my health with her! Her focus on striking a healthy balance when incorporating a fitness regime into your life has really helped me to reach my goals on a sustainable way, as I don’t feel like I’m restricting myself. Despite still going out for food and drinks with my friends on the weekend, I’ve been consistently meeting my fitness targets!

Prior to my own fitness journey, I was a little sceptical of the benefits of a personal trainer. I thought I could manage it by myself. However, I did not realise the power of accountability.
After an initial consultation, Mia set me a series of very manageable exercises, which fitted in with my goals and lifestyle. She contacted my regularly to check how I was finding everything and tweaked any exercise I found tricky (I have a dodgy ankle from a break). Mia has proved to be motivational, consistent in her approach, firm but fair. I love the exercises she sets me (well most of them, a few are truly evil but I still do them) and they have made a huge difference to my body shape and attitude towards exercise. Going to the gym is now part of ‘me time’ and I even use the squat rack!
